Unclimbed Trekking Peaks of Bhutan

Duration: 20-30 days
April-May/Oct-Nov.
From $5,500

In the early 1990s, Bhutan banned mountaineering expeditions to peaks over 6,000 meters. Today Bhutan contains countless peaks up to 6,000 meters which have never been climbed. Over the last seven years, High Asia has reconnoitered over a dozen summits that can be climbed quickly from access points along different trekking routes. These peaks vary in difficulty from full technical mixed rock and ice routes, to walks ups that enable one to gaze down on the forbidden Tibetan Plateau. Contact us for more details on our climbing expeditions in northern Bhutan.
