This will be the most rewarding and challenging trek you will ever take. The northern Bhutanese Himalaya were first visited by foreigners in the early 1960s. Since the trek officially opened in the late 1980s only a few groups a year venture into this stunning mountain country. The full Snowman trek enables one to essentially cross Bhutan from east to west or west to east depending on the route chosen. It provides access to stupendous southface of Gangkar Punsum-the world's highest unclimbed peak. The high passes, mountain lakes, nomadic herders of Lunana and the countless mountain vistas offer participants the ultimate Himalayan trekking experience.
